A message from the new Committee

On behalf of President Jim Hammond & the new Committee of the Lanarkshire Bowling Association for season 2022, we would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all clubs who attended the AGM last Wednesday.
Thanks also   to Houldsworth BC for once again hosting.
It was a fantastic turn out and one that we feel shows the enthusiasm across the county for bowls to return to the fore, an enthusiasm the committee share.
We look forward to working together to help 2022 be as good a season as it can be.
In order to get the ‘bowl’ rolling, the final closing date for entries and payment for this seasons competitions has been set as this Wednesday, 2nd March.
If any clubs wish to question their entries before draws are made, please get in touch. Our new competitions director is keen to make a start on all draws and we will have these out to all clubs as soon as possible.
One of the first changes for this season is the new website, www.lbaweb.co.uk, which is taking shape nicely.  In order to help streamline and speed the process of reporting results and updating draws for everyone, we have created an on-line  results form on the website (Click on COMPETITIONS in the menu above) which we will be asking all clubs to use. Why not  have a browse over the new form and give us some feedback?
We hope that this will be convenient and easy for all to use but are always open to suggestions and ways to better things.
Finally, we would just like to wish everyone the very best for the season ahead.
We hope the weather is kind, chalkers are plentiful and we can have an uninterrupted season of camaraderie & good bowling to make up for the last couple of years.
