Competition Draws

Last night was the first meeting of the of the new LBA committee and this season’s competitions was the main topic of concern.
Many thanks must go to all clubs for returning their entry forms to us so promptly, and a special thanks to the almost two thirds of clubs which entered using the new online form. This was a great help to the committee & especially the competitions director,  and allowed us to compile the information in a far more efficient manner and complete all draws in what was probably under an hour. Thank you all!
Our Competitions Director  is now able to get on with the less enviable task of allocating greens for all ties,  but it is hoped that we will have all the information available & on the website by the back end of next week.  From early communications, we’re less hopeful of Fraser having the same headful of hair come the end though!  😆
While we can’t quite tell you who you will be playing and where, what we can say is that the prelim round of this year’s competitions will take place on Thursday 5th of May.
With the start date now known, all you need to do is keep your eyes peeled on the website & on here for all ties being published.

Won’t be long now, bring on the bowls!

Update 11th March - All draws, dates and venues are now on the website under 'COMPETITONS'
